Oklahoma City Thunder second-year guard Cason Wallace was named to the NBA Rising Star Challenge. In his sophomore campaign, Wallace has an increased role for Mark Daigneault and the Thunder. And that work hasn’t gone unnoticed as he is heading to the 2025 NBA All-Star Weekend in San Francisco.

The NBA announced its roster pool for the 2025 Rising Stars challenge. The Oklahoma City Thunder will have one representative in Cason Wallace. The 28 players consist of 10 NBA rookies, 11 NBA sophomores and seven NBA G League players.

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Cason Wallace was named a Rising Star in the NBA on Tuesday. Wallace was selected to participate in the 2025 Castrol Rising Stars Game. This will be his second Rising Stars appearance. The guard has played in 44 games this season, starting in 30 of those.
