Testimony began on Monday in the trial of a Pitcairn man who was charged with shooting and killing an Uber driver. The victim was a mother of four whose family said she was working to earn extra money when she was kidnapped and murdered,

A man accused of shooting and killing an Uber driver will go to trial Monday in Allegheny County. Calvin Crew is accused of murdering Christina Spicuzza in February 2022. A jury is expected to hear opening statements and testimony during the first day of the trial.

During the trial proceedings on Monday, one of the lead investigators took the stand and showed the courtroom photos of the crime scene, and explained how they navigated the woods to find Spicuzza’s body.

Calvin Crew is charged in the kidnapping and murder of Christina Spicuzza, a crime captured on video. Prosecutor say Crew is the man seen putting a gun to Spicuzza’s head, attempting to rob her and finally shooting the mother of four.
