Mass layoffs are hitting Legoland, one of the biggest theme parks in California and the first of its kind in America.

DENMARK'S Legoland is opening a new pirate playground. When the Billund theme park reopens in April, there will be a new surprise for kids - a pirate playground with huge ship and inclusive play area.

Legoland owner says yearly sales soared to record high - Merlin Entertainments, which is one of the world’s biggest operators of theme parks and attractions, said sales hit £2.1 billion last year.
