According to a notice first reported to NHTSA on Friday, the recall covers 272,817 Bronco and Maverick vehicles that contain 12-volt batteries manufactured by Chinese company Camel Battery.

There were no reports of accidents, fires or injuries, said the National Highway and Transportation Safety Administration.

The batteries were made in China under the Camel Battery brand and were used between February 5, 2020, and Oct. 20, 2022.
