Hartselle is hosting robotics competitions at its intermediate and junior high schools Saturday that have 44 teams from all over the state competing to earn a spot at the state robotics championship.
Colville said plans are in the works for Belding's elementary school to also have its own robotics club, where students will get to learn with Lego so that more kids get the opportunity.
The competition is the largest of its kind in the Midwest, and took place at Kiewit Hall on UNL's campus, giving high school kids an opportunity to expand their knowledge in engineering.
