Sha'nya Bennett, 23, had no choice but to give birth at an empty Krispy Kreme parking lot during a historic winter storm.

Sha'Nya Bennett and her partner Keon Mitchell listed Krispy Kreme as their newborn son's place of birth. Bennett and Mitchell named their second child Dallas Amir, but they’ve been calling him Glaze. Bennett says the Krispy Kreme-inspired nickname suits him.

Family members even suggested making the child’s middle name Glaze. "We'll have to talk about that," the boy's father said.

Sha'Nya Bennett, 23, told "Good Morning America" she was surprised when she delivered her baby boy Dallas at the Krispy Kreme on Jan. 22, because she was supposed to be induced the following day.

“Krispy Kreme is sweetening the family’s a-glaze-ing celebration by throwing Dallas a birthday party every year until he’s all grown up! ” a spokesperson for the company said in a statement to People on Saturday. Dallas’ birth certificate is also believed to be the first to name Krispy Kreme as “place of birth,” per People.

Sha’Nya Bennett said when she and her partner pulled into a Krispy Kreme parking lot, “that’s when I knew this baby was going to be born in the car.”
