ULSTER — Employees at a Starbucks outside Kingston have voted to unionize, joining a nationwide movement of more than 11,000 baristas fighting for workplace protections at the coffee chain.
The executive had previously said he "pleaded" with workers to come back to the office. Starbucks employees responded by signing an open letter protesting the company's return-to-office mandate.
