A 15-year-old boy stormed a small regional airport in Arkansas with an AR-style rifle while demanding a plane — until he was stopped by a “heroic” pilot who ran and grabbed his own gun, according to officials.

The 15-year-old boy approached the front desk of Signature Aviation, a business and private aviation company in the Texarkana Regional Airport, and brandished the firearms, the Texarkana Police Department said.
