The Texas HIV Medication Program (THMP) distributes medications to eligible clients via a statewide network of participating pharmacies. THMP Participating Pharmacies that are in the process of MOU renewal should take note of an important program change.

This subchapter establishes procedures and eligibility guidelines for programs under the Texas HIV Medication Program (THMP) as required in the Texas Health and Safety Code, §85.063.

If a client experiences problems obtaining medications through their Medicare Rx plan, they're welcome to call THMP at 800-255-1090 so that we can provide guidance and assistance. All clients who qualify for a partial subsidy or are denied the low-income subsidy will continue to access medications through THMP.
