Hello all! I'm excited to share that I've just published my first mod for Resident Evil HD Remaster! It's called RESCALE, and it serves as a spiritual successor to the brilliant REupscale project that Shiryu created in 2019.

All Resident Evil with this mod suffers some mipmap issues if you're using DLSS/FSR2 from Quality to Ultra Performance except for DLAA and XeSS because DLAA is already at native resolution and XeSS seems to work correctly without doing anything. There's a way to make it look correct with nvidiaProfileInspector.

Thanks to the great modder EXXXcellent for unlocking more graphics option and Praydog for providing us REFramework and integrate the mod into it. RE 2/3/7/8 support RTGI/AO/Reflection while RE4 only support RT reflection. This mod pretty much unlock pathtracing which definitely elevate the graphics to the next level or make the game look off.

2022年6月7日 · Download and unzip the files of this mod in the Bin32 folder of the game files. Unfortunately there is no mod to change RE4’s tank control movement. You cannot move while shooting like in the modern remakes but you can get used to them fairly quickly.

2022年10月2日 · Haven't played the mod you're referring to, but there is an item randomizer mod that changes the location of items including key items. It might inevitably make the game easier since I remember getting some of the keys right as I got to the station amd opened up many doors without any zombies spawning in yet without having triggered the event lol.
