Minardi, founded in Faenza, Italy, in 1979 by Giancarlo Minardi, has a rich history in motorsport that extends back to the Minardi family’s involvement in racing in the 1920s. The team entered Formula 1 in 1985, a journey that lasted until 2005.

The Team is born… the legend of Minardi begins. From 1972 up to that moment-we are in 1979- Gian Carlo Minardi had managed teams and racing cars which bore the names of other owners: first the Scuderia del Passatore and then the Scuderia Everest S.r.l.

Welcome to Forzaminardi.com, a website dedicated to the Minardi Formula 1 team, which raced at the pinnacle of motorsport from 1985 until 2005. In its 20-year history, the team only scored 38 points and never managed to climb the podium.

Minardi was a Formula One team who raced between 1985 and 2005, competing in nearly 350 races, and due a well-known low budget, did not achieve a single podium. Overall, they scored just 38 points.
