Picasa was a versatile and user-friendly photo management and editing software developed by Lifescape, and acquired by Google in 2004. It provided a range of features to organize, edit, and share digital photos on Windows and macOS platforms.

We’ve decided to retire Picasa in order to focus on a single photo service in Google Photos – a new, smarter photo app that works seamlessly across mobile and the web.
