Companies such as Uber Technologies Inc. and DoorDash Inc. have established or expanded programs allowing employers to distribute meal credits to their staffs."

2016年6月20日 · My recollection, which is not as reliable as it used to be, is that "staffs" is always plural for "staff" in British English (two staff members are two staffs), and most American English speakers use "staff" for both singular and plural. However, I sometimes hear the word "staffers" coming out of WDC news stories.

Staves is rare in North America except in the sense of "magic rod", or the musical notation tool; stave of a barrel or cask is a back-formation from staves, which is its plural.

Chiefly this occurs in the cases where there are multiple different and distinct groups of the objects in question. This could well be argued to be the case where you are talking about the staffs of several different people.

2014年4月29日 · I do see staffs used in the plural sometimes nowadays, which I didn't in the past. I think there may be a change brewing, but for the moment would recommend holding back and using staff, and members of staff for a plural, Rover's not so common case excepted.
