Once any arbitrator is invited to serve, in accordance with the AAA rules, they are required to disclose any circumstance likely to give rise to justifiable doubt as to their impartiality or independence.

Arbitrator compensation is set at a rate of $300 per hour per arbitrator. Arbitrators are compensated at this rate for all time incurred on the case, including but not limited to: study, hearing, and travel time.
