The airship hull / envelope is divided into one or more sealed lifting gas volumes and separate gas volumes called “ballonets” that contain air at ambient, or near-ambient pressure. To make the blimp go up, you have to let the helium expand (less dense helium, more buoyant) by venting air out of the ballonet. Now, and this is the crucial point, to bring it back down, you have to compress the helium (more dense helium, less buoyant) by PUMPING in air to the ballonet.

2021年1月12日 · The ballonets have nothing to do with lift and there's no practical way to compress air or lifting gas. That would require a big heavy compressor and big heavy storage tanks. A ballonet would burst if you tried to pressurize it. The ballonets are just there to keep the main envelope fully inflated.

2023年2月4日 · The ballonet would be constant volume in this case. It would create zero net force when the pressure inside the ballonet equals the surrounding pressure. In this case the buoyancy of the outer envelope will make the balloon rise. By pumping more air into the ballonet, you will be increasing the pressure and the mass, but not the volume.

Brodiaea has the best damage for melee, but also has amazing range on shots. Libertador has the best ranged damage, but that terrible second hit on melee and short range on shots had me compensating more for its weaknesses than using it.
